Fair use, plain language
Terms of Use
Use the frog responsibly, and remember that a network test is a measurement—not a promise from your ISP.
Effective July 16, 2026
Accepting these terms
By accessing or using IP Frog, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
What IP Frog provides
IP Frog provides informational tools for viewing public connection details, checking IPv4 and IPv6 availability, estimating latency, running internet speed tests, looking up IP information, and creating shareable result snapshots.
The service is provided for general information and troubleshooting. Results can be incomplete, delayed, approximate, or affected by factors outside IP Frog's control.
Speed tests use data
Speed tests transfer data to measure your connection. A full test can use a substantial amount of bandwidth, especially on a fast connection. Do not run one on a metered, capped, roaming, or expensive connection unless you understand the possible charges and data use.
Responsible use
You agree not to misuse the service. This includes attempting to disrupt it, bypass protections or limits, submit fabricated telemetry at scale, scrape it in a way that harms availability, probe addresses without authorization, introduce malicious code, or use IP Frog in violation of applicable law.
Automated and commercial access may eventually be offered through a documented API or paid plan. Public website endpoints are not a promise of unlimited automated access.
IP lookup
Only look up IP addresses when you have a legitimate and lawful reason to do so. Location and organization results are estimates based on third-party network data. They do not establish a person's identity or exact physical location.
Shared results
Shared-result snapshots are encoded in the link. Anyone with the link may be able to view the included information. You are responsible for deciding where and with whom you share it. IP Frog may change the link format or stop supporting old formats in the future.
No guarantee of accuracy
Internet measurements vary with Wi-Fi conditions, device performance, browser behavior, network congestion, routing, VPNs, test endpoints, and time of day. IP Frog does not guarantee that a result matches your ISP's advertised plan, another testing service, or a controlled laboratory measurement.
Third-party services and links
IP Frog relies on third-party infrastructure and data providers and may display advertisements, sponsorships, or affiliate links. We do not control every third-party service, offer, or destination and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, terms, or privacy practices.
Intellectual property
IP Frog's branding, design, original articles, and service presentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may link to public pages and quote short excerpts with attribution. These terms do not grant permission to copy the site wholesale, impersonate IP Frog, or republish substantial portions as your own.
Service changes
We may add, remove, limit, suspend, or change features at any time. We may also block traffic that threatens reliability, security, data quality, or lawful operation.
Disclaimer
To the fullest extent allowed by law, IP Frog is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, continuous availability, or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, IP Frog and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost data, lost profits, service interruption, ISP charges, or decisions made from a test result.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service changes. Continued use after updated terms are published means you accept the revised version.
